I traveled from Turkey to HSS for my hip pain. Dr Moley used pain management priducts for 6-7 years and then he recommended me Dr Su who was incredible. I had my first hip replacement in June 2015 and able to ski in 8 months danced in Cuba in 6 months. Dr. Su ruined my life. As a 30 year-old I had my hip resurfaced with Dr. Su. 2 weeks after surgery I ended up in the emergency room with a completely swollen butt, unable to move my operated leg. Dr. Su brushed me off and called it a flare up. I went to Dr. Su after a failed hip surgery performed by Dr. Kelly. After experiencing complications following surgery with Dr. Su that landed me in the emergency room, I was told for over a year that it was a "flare up". I was then directed to doctor after doctor at HSS. If I had listened to these doctors, I would have had 5 additional surgeries before I was 32 years old. I have given Dr. Su five stars, because I can’t give 10. Quite simply, he is the best orthopedic surgeon in America. I did my second total hip replacement with Dr. Su on Monday. On Tuesday, I walked out of my building with my wife, on our way to lunch, I was walking so well that the building manager asked when I would be doing my surgery. The surgery and recovery were amazing.

I have had a hip resurfacing done at HSS. I came from Philadelphia after having multiple other opinions. Wonderful! Dr. Su is a great Dr.! He took his time, listened & didn’t rush me out the door. He answered all my questions & explained everything. I don’t need surgery @ this time which was a relief. Dr. Su suggested I see a colleague which I plan to do. Many thanks to this caring Dr. & his wonderful staff. We need more doctors like him!
RecommendedI am very particular about who I choose to care for my family and I. I tend to do research to find the best. This is how I ended up under the care of Dr Su. Dr Su and his team are amazing. So professional, caring and accommodating. Their surgical skills are outstanding. Dr Su replaced both my hips 2 years apart. And I felt I was in the best hands each time. I can't thank them enough!!
