NOTHING LIKE IT – After reading some of the reviews I am sadly disappointed that people have nothing better to do than be cruel in their remarks. I to have shopped at this store for well over 30 years. I have watched this store grow from a small little store carrying a few wiltons supplies to a wonderful store that carries everything a baker could ever want. Edwards Good product, Bad service – Well I needed cake supplies, so I went to the only place in town, Edwards Cake & Candy. Love the product that they offer, however can't stand the POOR customer service, with the exception of Alta & Joanne. I used to always take clients in to buy product from the wedding section, but now there is a B-E-O-T-C-H who sits there and patrols the wedding section and does not allow the customers to familarize theselves with product. Great Store, less than friendly service... – I have been using Edwards Cake and Candy for at least 10 years, and while they were on Coffee road, I never had a problem with anyone there. Mostly, Alta was my saving grace with her knowledge and tips on easier ways to do things. I've been there a few times since they've moved to Bangs ave, and when Alta isn't there, or she's in the back, I have to agree, especially ONE of those clerks behaves as though you haven't a brain in your head. customer service not so great – When I first walked into the store my jaw dropped because they have everything i could ever need. They have alot of items that I had never seen and I could definitely use for cake decorating. I was in awe and totally glad that i had drove 40 minutes there, UNTIL, my son touches a cookie cutter. The lady took it from his hands. Totally rude! If i go back I will go there on my own and leave the kids at home. I thought they were a little overpriced as well. But it is an awesome store!
The customer service has much to be desired – I have been very disappointed with this store the past couple of years. The customer service is terrible. The employees are extremely rude and not very helpful. Most of the business I do there is for my children, yet when I go into the store they follow us around like hawks to be sure my children don't go near anything. I would understand if my kids ran all over the place, but they didn't touch anything while we were in the store and were still scolded for going near some items. ... read more
Wow, has this place gone downhill! – I have been going to Edwards for the past several years and even took courses there (Linda is a fabulous teacher, btw...) However, the last couple times have been really bad.....they are snooty and not terribly helpful and the owner is forever in the background hollering out orders to everyone. IT IS NOT EVERY DAY YOU FIND AN ESTABLISHMENT COMPLETELY EQUIPT WITH EVERYTHING YOUR LITTLE HEART DESIRES, BUT TO SUM IT UP THIS PLACE HAS IT ALL. THEY HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR YOUR CREATIVE CANDY MAKING OR CAKE PROJECTS THEY ALSO HAVE CLASSES VERY REASONABLE PRICES AND IT IS A PLACE YOU FEEL VERY WELCOME.
