I have been seeing Dr. Skol and his care team for 3+ years. He is thorough and takes time in assessment, and has ordered me several labs. Every time I have a concern, I've been told I can call the office and drop in to show Dr. Skol my new symptoms. Even if I sent him messages with photos, he will order me labs to rule out my concerns. I've been debating on writing this review for a while, but figured I should. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I had been dealing with pain for MANY years and had gotten a potential fibromyalgia diagnosis from my PCP but she referred me to confirm. When I saw Dr Skol, he barely even looked at me during the exam. He brushed me off with the fibromyalgia diagnosis but did not even try to run any lab tests or imaging to see if there was a route cause of my pain. Years ago I went to Dr. Skol after receiving a positive Sjogren’s lip biopsy ordered through neurology. He dismissed my diagnosis and told me that I simply had fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia at 15 years old but he did not read my chart or the intake I filled out to know this. Dr. Skol wrote in my notes that I had muscular atrophy from steroids but the biopsy he referred to was taken prior to steroid use. I would highly recommend Dr Skol. He is an excellent, knowledgeable doctor with great bedside manner. He listens to his patient with care & dignity. He doesn't try to brush you off. In contrast, he would order any required tests & get to the bottom of the problem. I was very impressed with the care I received from him & his team members. They were all great & deserve nothing less than 5 star.
