Dr. Rutland was wonderful! He went above and beyond, even altering his schedule, to meet my needs, very pleasant and easy to communicate with. Also, my experience at Lake Area Hospital was outstanding! From pre op, check in, nursing team, anesthesia and of course Dr R, everyone performed their duties with excellence! All of the support staff from the RN to the nurse practitioner to the X-ray tech for very professional and very efficient at their job. Dr Rutland was very attentive to my description of the issue as well as supporting my ER visit to Lake Area Medical with the purpose of surgical removal of kidney stones should the need arise. My only disappointment is that should I not need the services of his Department for 3 years I have to reestablish doctor - patient relationship per Ochsner policy.

Extremely great doctor who listens to his patients and takes concern when issues arise. His staff has great knowledge and everyone on his staff are friendly and helpful.
