Having spend my entire career in medical imaging, I had seen numerous examples of poor outcomes from spine surgery. Therefore I was reluctant to explore the surgical option for my lumbar spine injury. Being nearly paralyzed and in constant severe pain finally left me with no alternative. Luckily, I found Dr. Rustamzadeh. He was direct and to the point in his assessment of my condition and recommended a multilevel fusion. He told me he would do his best to make repairs that would restore my mobility and relieve my pain. He ex... read more

Saw Dr. 1x before sx. Previous 4 sxs.I had a pre-op appt. with the sx gone over and ?s answered. Clerk told me what would be done. The day of the sx anesthesiologist came to talk me, NOT Dr. R. I was sent home the same day. I was still under anesthesia so I was comfortable. The next day despite meds I was uncomfortable and had to use a cane. The next day I was more uncomfortable and had to use a walker. The next day I couldn't move due to pain. An ambulance transported me to the hospital. Dr. R NEVER visited . I was transfer... read more

It was the luckiest day of my life when I went to Good Sam ER and he was the neurosurgeon that day. I immediately liked him and felt confident with his expertise. Everyone spoke highly of him. He operated on me a few days later. I had a bad cervical neck and it wasn't a simple operation....I had major work done. His team in the operating room was excellent as well. Everything was explained what would be happening during the operation. It has been 3 months since the operation and I had X-rays of my neck taken today. I was ast... read more

Dr. Rustamzadeh performed surgery on my daughter Tonya this passed Monday. He spoke to me before the surgery and after the surgery. He was very willing to answer any questions that I had as well as her daughter. What ever she needed after the surgery he made sure of her receiving the care that she needed. I would highly recommend him to others. He's very caring of his patients and they're family. Thank you, Gretchen Ferguson (Tonya's mom)

The X-rays showed serious degeneration of my neck which was in the process of auto fusing. Very, very painful. Looking at the X-rays my primary doc said there are very few surgeons that would even touch that, but one would ... Dr Rustamzadeh. He did a total reconstruction of my neck C-2 > C-7 Surgery was approx 8 hours. The recovery wasn't too bad. Off all pain meds in a week and today I am completely pain free! Can't say enough good things about Dr R. He is one awesome surgeon-a miracle worker

Dr. R is an excellent skilled neurosurgeon with an awesome office staff/support team…esp., Nicole (RN). Nicole is kind, caring, efficient, listens to your questions/concerns, & is always eager to help! She makes you feel so comfortable & at ease…It's like having a friend there!! I've had to contact Dr. R's office on a number of occasions, for various reasons & Nicole was always quick to reply after speaking to Dr. Rustamzadeh, on my dad's behalf! So grateful to Dr. R & to his amazing staff!!!

An amazing experience, to say the least. I suffered from Piriformis Syndrome, which I was a told was virtually untreatable. Researched and found a couple of references to Dr. Rustamzadeh. After a 1-1/2 procedure and short downtime, I am driving long distances again with no pain whatsoever. And his assistant Nicole was wonderful - informed, professional, and kind.
