I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kaplan and his clinic. Everyone was really nice. They fit in a little minor procedure for me, same day, with very little waiting. And best of all, Ed Kaplan was just easy to talk to. He's a just a regular guy. I really liked him. Honestly, I kinda hate hospitals. But I liked my experience yesterday at Urology Clinics of North Texas.
Totally the Best Doctor Ever!
Dr. Kaplan gave me a paper prescription instead of sending it into my pharmacy. I was in the middle of a move at the time and lost my paper prescription, but still needed my medication badly. It took multiple calls and pleas that I had an active infection for the nurses to finally send my medication in to my pharmacy. They were going to make me come in for a second time to get a new prescription! I did not pay a $50 copay to have to go in a second time to get a prescription I was already given
Dr. Kaplan is the best there is! In & out in no time!
Copy Dr Kaplan was efficient and direct. Wait time was excellent. The girl that checked me out however should find a different line of work where she doesn’t deal with clients or customers. She puts off a “you’re interrupting my day” kind of vibe.
After months of constant severe pain & several wrong antibiotics, changed to a new urologist. New dr prescribed correct one. Whenever I called Kaplan's office, calls were either not returned or returned days later. Was told they were busy. At least once, labwork never sent in- they forgot. Had to call for lab results - they did not call me ---ever. Office did not seem to care. Physically went to office & request records to new dr. Marked urgent! Over 16 bus days, records not at new dr yet!
Overall excellent experience. I was nervous and Dr. Kaplan was a caring thoughtful doctor.
