Would I recommend him to my family and friends? In a heart beat. Follow up exam from 4 vessel bypass: After reading some negative comments, I almost turned down Dr MacInerney as a provider, after meeting him and under going his exam, sure glad that I took him on as my Cardiologist, more so, very happy he accepted me as a patient. Some of the commenters need to be under treatment thru the VA, may they wouldn't be so critical.
Arrogant, condescending, rude and impatient I feel like I'm there just to pay for his house, his cars and his kids education and not my medical care
Arrogant, awful, condescending, lacking in compassion, unwilling to really listen to the patient. Unfortunately this was my first experience seeing him, hopefully my last. He did more complaining and lecturing us than anything. Was really depending on him to help with my current heart issue but instead he ended up cutting my dosage in half of a medicine that I really rely on. Now I will be facing even greater problems. There is absolutely no way that I will ever recommend him. Will warn others.
Horrible experience! Rude, arrogant and lacked compassion. Additionally, we overheard him being condescending to a nurse. Will never return or recommend.
Horrible bed side manner! Spent 10 min In the room. Very inpatient when I asked a question.
Stop! Do not pass go. If you are looking for a caring and compassionate doctor, this one is not for you. I have never seen a doc that was so arrogant, abrupt and rude. Made my husband and I extremely uncomfortable asking questions and was very condescending when we did. There are many great heart docs in this area, but this is not one of them. And I rarely, if ever leave reviews. We're all human so maybe he was having a bad day, but his attitude was way out of line.
My first visit with Dr. Maclnerney was very good. He explained what proc3eedure he would recommend and I am waiting to get scheduled on my way. Good experience. John
My wife and I have retired here from Southern California. The service, professionalism and personal care was superior compared to the extremely crowded and overwhelmed medical system in California. Glad we're here. Outstanding!
