Dr. Edward Benton is a skilled surgeon and a compassionate physician. I had a total knee replacement 2 months ago. From the start he put me at ease, listened to my questions and concerns, allowing me to make my decision. He explained the surgical procedure and the steps he takes to minimize trauma and discomfort and enable recovery. Day 2 of the surgery I had no swelling or bruising! I am a local family physician and I spent a lot of time considering who would do my surgery. I am very happy with my choice of Dr. Benton. I had a total hip replacement done in October 2018 and I am doing great. Free of pain and back to a healthy active lifestyle which I know is key to my long-term health. I am very grateful to Dr. Benton. He is an excellent surgeon. He is a very down-to-earth person with a good friendly professional bedside manner. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Benton was great! I highly recommend him. In all appointments he gave me plenty of time, took all my questions, did not make me feel he was in a hurry. I could also text him my questions pre-and post-surgery and he answered me the very same day. This was very good, reassuring personalized attention.
