Dr. Flotte did my neck surgery. I suffered spinal meningitis after and after 3 years still haven't fully recovered. Neck is still a major issue along with headaches that are intolerable.
I was referred to dr flott for spinal fusion. At the very first visit I was prescribed Percocet at a very high dose without any request or anything. They pushed this medication I took the medication not knowing the consequences of doing so. I persisted with requesting surgery so I could be off of it because they are hard to get refilled and I wanted weaned off. When I finally got the surgery, it did not fix the problem. Dr Edward has done 2 cervical spine fusion in my neck, recently he worked on my lumbar spine T1 through T4. When I woke up to my surprise I felt my fingers, my toes and my balance had come back. After 4 weeks post surgical, the pain has remain minimal.
Dr. Flotte was highly recommended for my second opinion. The staff would not call me back had to go to the office to get my appointment. Told them I would pay out of pocket for my second opinion my insurance would not pay for it . Still they did not listen . Then when I arrived at my appointment I was taken back to get ask bunch of questions by I guess a nurse pig tails and tattoos. She told me I did not meet dr flotte s criteria. She was so rude and would not listen . Do not go there it is an awful experience.
I had an acdf in August of last year. I was very nervous but Dr. Flotte's team made me feel at ease. He did a great job and I'd recommend him!
