Dr. Moses ******** is a pill pusher who gave my addicted daughter Xanax who is in her early 20's without checking her chart which has now put her into complete relapse. He does not check patient profiles and just hands out medication without any investigation at all!!!

Business response:

Please share the patient information and this will be investigated. Thank you.

I just got off the phone with a rep from the billing department and let me tell you that she was arrogant, and very unhelpful. If the hospital would be more personable then maybe the reviews would be good.

Went to the Urgent Care Oswego location on Dec 30, 2020. Though they state the are an urgent care facility, they bill as an er and costed me 100's of dollars more than I should pay for an urgent care. On top of that, they billed me separately, costing me my regualr copay of $65 and the er copay of $500, when again I didn't go to the er. I stayed away from the er to not pay this fee. This is super deceptive, as there is no place they let patients know about how they code. My insurance called with me on the phone and they even... read more

Business response:

This visit was billed as an immediate care service, this was not billed as an emergency room. We have contacted the patient and agreed to waive her patient balance.

Being aware of higher prices in Edwards-Elmhurst for blood tests, I did my blood panel with another company and let my family doctor (also Edwards affiliate) know the results via MyChart. Since PSA and free PSA were not provided by the other firm, I specifically asked my doctor to prescribe PSA and free PSA. He replied he requested them at Edwards. Ia Edwards Hospital, blood was drawn and, few days later, I received the results, containing to my surprise, the whole blood panel, including test that I did less than a week earl... read more

Business response:

After reviewing your account, we agreed that you should only be billed for the PSA tests. Your balance has been reduced to $460.46. I apologize for the frustration that this issue has caused. Thank you for bring this matter to our attention.

This does not meet standards of a 'Health Care Facility.' The Emergency Room personal are unprofessional. They discriminate against MEDICARE patients. I was treated as less than human. I am elderly and went to the ER with vomiting and diarrhea. One nurse kept asking when my IV drip was going to be done. The nurses said I am ********, like a dirty word. They were bitching About ******** coverage, and they needed my bed for a 'patient' - insinuating that I was not a patient. I was put in the hallway. By the way, no one else wa... read more

Business response:

This has been referred to the Emergency Department for review. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Edward Elmhurst immediate care in Oswego IL charged $1268 for a doctor visit and strep test. Dreyer charged $193 for doctor visit I did not get a strep test there but they told me the charge is $33 for that. That would have made the bill $226 for Dreyer. Both facilities look the same, offer the same services and are named the same - immediate care. No one would know walking into Edward that you are going to be charged similar to emergency room fees. I did not walk into the hospital I walked into a stand alone clinic by the g... read more

I cannot explain the depth of my disappointment in Edward-Elmhurst office and billing department. I was a lifelong patient there. two years ago my medication needed prior authorization to be sent to a mail in pharmacy, the nurse sent me emails rather than calling me arguing about doing so. I called the office and asked them to please do the prior authorization. They never did. Two weeks later another nurse called to fight with me about it more even though I had already filled the Rx so it was too late anyway. I also had my a... read more

Business response:

I have forwarded this to the physician group for review.

I have a health insurance with ********* ********** HMO with medical group Edward-Elmhurst Health.I reached my out of pocket expenses, $1500 in August 2017. I called my insurance many times, ********* and Edward Elmhurst Health. I was told by ********* not to pay the bills which were coming all the time, to tell to Elmhurst Health to put my account on hold until they will review it.They didn’t do anything not even after I faxed them a letter from ********* stating very clearly that I reached my out of pocket expenses. All my... read more

My son was born over a year and half ago and I'm still having problems paying off a hospital bill. First the hospital kept billing the wrong insurance (kept billing mine when we told them several times he was under my husbands insurance). Then they had my husband down as being the baby and my son down as being the insurance holder. Had to go into the hospital and talk to billing since we couldn't get any help over the phone from anyone. From here they put us on a payment plan. Next thing we get a letter stating are account is... read more

Business response:

This account is currently on a payment plan and we are working with the guarantor to set up an auto deduct as requested. The account is current and not in collection.
