No Compassion, Not Your Physician for Life! In over 2 yrs, saw Dr twice. PA's & nurse practitioners every month. Darlene the office manager and a menacingly huge NP ambushed us (a man 67 & a woman 70) and the Dr was too cowardly to even explain what or why. He doesn't want to do pain management anymore... but he's still pushing medical marijuana. Darlene shouldn't be doing marijuana physicals, but make payment arrangements & she puts in the paperwork. Then they want $100 every 70 days.

After going to his office since 2016 I have only seen him once. My husband and I are seniors and have had several hospitalizations so we have several specialists. However we need a primary care physician for the referrals. From the first visit Dr. Palanca decided not to send us to a pain specialist but to prescribe all of our meds. However every visit became us seeing a nurse practitioner who would call the doctor on the phone for some code for the scripts. Today his sister fired us. Doctor for?

Dr. Palanca and his staff, particularly office manager Doreen McKee, provided me with exceptional kindness and efficiency during my time of need. I would recommend Dr. Palanca as a kind and caring physician.

Dr. Palanca is a certified Marajuana MD. Well, he is a very greedy for money that is for sure!!! $250 cash to be seen for a 70 day prescription!!! Then another $100 every 70 days to renew your prescription. CRAZY~GREEDY!!! The Doctor at the dispensary charges $169 for the 1st visit with a SEVEN MONTH PRESCRIPTION and $169 with an included Dr. visit every seven months to renew the prescription!! WOW!!! Big difference!!! Do not use Dr. Palanca for Marajua

Dr. Palanca is very thorough. He cares about his patients' concerns and addresses them. I have benefitted from his care. I would recommend Dr. Palanca without hesitation.

Dr. Palanca is awful. My poor mother got stuck with him via the hospital. She was dying, but he and his staff would always say her vitals and everything were ok. Misdiagnosed. And would be very hard to get a hold of. Never got a hold of him. It was even harder to get a response. They would not listen to me, her daughter in charge of her care. Blew me off. My mother was dying, her body was shutting down, and in clear pain; it was obvious. But yet he did nothing.

Misdiagnosis of ailment. Had emergency outpatient surgery elsewhere. Doctor lacks communication skills with patient, saw him for a total of 30 seconds. (NO KIDDING!) Office management overbooked, stressed and overworked, total chaos! Beware of being prescribed medications from "compound" pharmacies. The cost is prohibitive and in my case prescribed with NO use for my ailment.($300.00) Pharmaceutical reps in by threes and fours while I waited over an hour for appointment. Go elsewhere!

Business response:

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. You were started on antibiotics with recommendation for to return for surgery of the lesion, which, at that time was not yet ready, hence you were only seen briefly. You were NOT charged for that visit. Compounding pharms provide mixture of creams for arthritis pain instead of dangerous pain meds. Pharma reps provide much needed samples of expensive meds for indigent and patients who can't afford their medications.

I will never go back. Met him once Blacked out while driving and never saw him. Went to the office, never saw him. Looking for new doctor. Very polite but that's it. Get passed on to someone else Suzanne

Business response:

We regret the inconvenience that this has caused you. We are a busy practice with multiple providers.

Very unorginized. Can not ever get anyone to actually answer the phone and when you finally get someone the office staff is very rude and hang up on you. One visit was enough. Would not recommend to anyone.

Business response:

We apologize for the inconvenience. We were at that time upgrading our phone system due to software glitches.
