We moved to Melbourne three years ago from Tampa and was really apprehensive about finding a family doctor here. Thankfully, we found Dr. Nevarez. We continue to see him to this day. He takes the time to ask questions about your health, if you have concerns and will occasionally ask about your family too, which can affect your well being in one form or another. In other words, he doesn't rush through the appointment. So if you are looking for a good family doctor, you will find it in Dr. Nevarez.

My primary care doctor retired so I found Dr Nevarez and decided to give him a try. I went for my yearly physical and check up. Got in quick, Dr Nevarez was prompt and didn’t make me wait long. He was very professional, gave me advise on certain life changes and even requested to do a 3 month follow up to check on my progress. 1st visit was great and I was very satisfied. We see what time and future visits bring. Also, Dr. Nevarez is in great shape so he walks the walk that he talks..
Sadly my 1st experience with Dr Nevares was not the best. After being in the room , waiting for 10min for him . I received an emergency call that I had to take. The doctor came into the room during my call . I stated in an apologetic tone I was in a call . The doctor decides to leave , after two minutes I go to see if we can continue the appointment. He sends his nurse to tell me to re schedule my appointment , because he got upset I was on the phone and he refused to provide a service . Very unprofessional on his behalf’s .... read more
