Note: this is one of those Edo locations that often HEAVILY waters down their teriyaki sauce. The atmosphere and dining area is nice otherwise. Just be forewarned you'll be getting what is essentially teriyaki flavored water poured on your meal instead of sauce, which kinda ruins an otherwise tasty meal. This happens about half the time I go to this particular location.
Today I ordered as usual an sukiyaki beef and paid for double the beef. This is the third time in a roll that I don't get the beef doubled just the regular, from now on I will order from another store.
Went to the Windermere location for the first time with my husband for a late lunch. It was an absolute awesome experience! The staff were very patient with our questions. The whole place was extremely clean and the staff were constantly cleaning in between orders. The food was outstanding! The portion sizes were great, unlike most restaurants these days. The taste was fabulous and everything was hot & fresh! We have only lived in Edmonton for just over a year and we both agreed that Edo Japan is now our favourite restaurant... read more
