This Edo in Commerce Place is fine. It offers the familiarity of Edo quality, with a very warm and happy staff at the counter, and the usual fast service. The counter is clean and the food court itself is bright and reasonable. The scene overall, at no fault of the restaurant, is still very typical downtown Edmonton.
Portion size is super small for the price. Price is almost the same as going to a restaurant. One time I went there, they ran out of rice and had to substitute with cauliflower rice, yet they charged me extra for the substitution even though it was their fault. Tried arguing with cashier but they won't see reason. Will never come here again.
