He spent time comparing his daily patients to my situation, but they did not make any sense or match what was being asked. No precise answer and very unprofessional. I was seen for 5 minutes by Dr. Cleeman and I was very disappointed. While he was testing the strength of both of my arms, he told me “not to play games.” I am not sure why a doctor would make such a inappropriate comment and there were 2 other people present in the room who observed his behavior, but I found his doctor’s comments offensive, coming from a doctor. One of the worst doctors - 1st appointment he saw my knee swelling and I told him I was in a lot of pain and he didn't offer a cortisone shot, he just ran in and ran out of the exam room. When he got the MRI for a torn meniscus he didn't offer to go over it with me - he almost walked out and I had to ask to tell me what's on the MRI. Never again.
I have been seeing Dr. Cleeman for a number of years. What most impresses me about him is that he does not rush to surgery. I think many other orthopedic surgeons would have operated on me know but Dr. Cleeman wants to push this off as much as possible. He also explains things in clear, understandable language without lapsing into medical jargon.
I was a patient of Dr. Cleeman two years ago Dr. Cleeman is very professional and friendly. I felt very relaxed as he administered the cortisone treatment in my knee.
Always a pleasant visit with Dr Cleeman. He addresses all my concerns and is very patient while doing so
Dr Cleeman is competent and thorough. He takes the time to answer all my questions. I highly recommend him.
The doctor was very kind and patient. He explained everything and made me very comfortable.
I have brought my kids to Dr. Cleeman for a few broken bones. We usually go to the Astoria office and the staff is very helpful. Once we went to the Manhattan office and they were great too. Usually we go right in, meet with the doctor and he tells the staff what x-rays are needed. He reviews the x-rays immediately, shares the results, and then we discuss the treatment plan.
