The Edgewater Inn is a small pizza tavern in the heart of Edgewater, and for many years been one of the highlights of the town. The Inn, most famous for its pizzas and family atmosphere, has graced the neighborhood for over fifty years. The owners, Ben and Josephine DiPietro started the business back in 1953. The Inn, now located on the southwest corner of 25th Avenue and Ames was initially located at the building due west of it's present address. In 1957, the building next door went up for sale. The buildings previous occup... read more

Ordered pizza last night and I have to say, it was mediocre. It might have been an "off" night but based on the times I've gone there in the past, the pizza didn't compare. The sauce was minimal and bland and for the few toppings I ordered, there was hardly anything on the pizza. Sadly, I probably won't be going back any time soon.
So many good times here...sad that one employee can dampen years of good times. Arrived at 11:01, no lunch, workin all day, and “Cary” kept pointing at the clock when I begged for “anything,” the kitchen was still hoppin, people running around....NO FOOD? Strange. What’s happening to America? Customer service is gone, huh? I’ve worked in this business 30 years and I’ve never said that to a customer or copped an attitude they were second class. “Go to McDonalds,” she said.
We love this place! – The food here is great and the service has always been good. Sometimes it's a little crowded but other than that it's a hit for us.
Edgewater Inn – Ya, went there on a Friday nite after the Rockies Game to grab a bite to eat, cause i was craving there pizza/beer but to our astonishment they had locked the front screen door and turned out the coors neon light but there where still customers still inside and it looked like it was business as usual, so that upset me that they locked us out by sending a message they don't want our service, and who ever heard of a bar taking a 3 day holiday break during the busiest holiday of the year, well thats the message ... read more
Crappy Service – Waited in a line that was out the door for 45 minutes. Not one person asked if we would like to sit at the bar and have a drink while we waited for a table. We sat ourselves down at the bar and waited for another 15 minutes for the bartender to even acknowledge us. Finally we got seated and discovered that we were seated before the folks that were waiting before us. How awkward is that? Took over an hour to get our two pizzas and one was soggy and obviously fell off the peel before it hit the oven since all ... read more
Edgewater Inn – My family and I hadn't been there for a while. We should have known when we pulled up on a Friday around noon and there was tons of parking available. We sat in the bar and then realized there was a patio with a buffet. We should have stayed where we were (maybe). The buffet was pathetic, the cole slaw tasted like old shoes and the pizza only came about one every 20 minutes. I could have had a better buffet in my kitchen. What the heck has happened? That was such a great place to go. Maybe we should have stay... read more
Good pizza-bad everything else – We ate at the Edgewater Inn on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. We went early because we know it gets busy. We ordered the Howdy pizza. Because we know that the pizza takes awhile we ordered a dinner salad and a cup of soup. We asked for water twice. The waiter came back and asked if my husband wanted water too. Got the wine and beer before the water. After 45 minutes, I asked the waiter if he remembered that we had ordered soup and salad. He told us the kitchen was backed up. One hour afer... read more
Jones'n for a slice – Had to move away from Denver awhile back but I still (and forever will) be Jones'n for pizza at the Edgewater Inn. Make mine a Howdy Special with plenty of tall frosty draft beer to go with it ! ! Great neighborhood spot that still gives me the feeling of Denver how it used to be.
Lunch Buffet needs some adjusting – I love Edgwater Pizza however the lunch buffet needs help - if you are like me you have more or less an hour for lunch. We went yestyerday and spent the majority of that waiting for a pizza to come out - then they only bring one for a restaurant full of people - mostly men! In my opinion, $11.00 for one peice of pizza, a salad, coke and tip isnt worth it.
