AVOID GOING TO EDENTIST!!!! There are many good dental practices around Bentleigh East, don’t risk it with eDentist. Frankly eDentist is the only dental practice I have ever had a bad experience with. I came in to get a crown, I paid for deposit, they told me it takes around 2 weeks to get the crown ready but for the next 2 months I called numerous times to ask when my crown is going to be ready but all I hear was “I’ll pass your message to the dentist and we’ll call you back“ but I never received a call back. I’d been a few times and was happy but my dentist went on maternity leave and I needed a filling. As suspected I needed a crown also. Firstly, you’d think for almost $2000 I’d at least get a check up call to see how my crown was settling? Nothing, no follow up call. On my first crown prep appointment I almost drowned because of the excessive amount of water. I’m not sure if the nurse wasn’t suctioning properly or I was reclined back to far. Many thanks to Dr. Nipuni who attended to re-splinting the wire (from 2 years ago) which came off during a meal a few days ago. The wire had probably loosened 6 months ago due to another fall on my teeth, though not as serious as the 1st fall in 2023. Dr. Nipuni was very approachable and patient and explained everything clearly to me. She did a very good job and refined the splinting until I was comfortable with it. Dentist website claims they do same day root canals but it is false advertisement. When going there they just send you to a specialist- these people are not specialists even though they claim they have endodontists. They just charged us for a consult for no reason even though I specifically booked a root canal and had a letter and X-rays from my dentist detailing the problem. Don’t come here if you need a root canal
