I have brought two MN Boxer Rescue foster dogs to PVPH and specifically to Dr. Sven. Love him and the service from all the staff members. They are a great team that go above and beyond. Dr. Sven explained everything to me in terms I could understand and the best way to help both boxer boys. Dr. Nelson has been nothing but understanding to the needs of a rescue. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. All the members I have met at PVPH have been extremely caring and gentle with my dogs.

RecommendedWe had to put our beloved family black lab, Lexi, down this morning. She was almost 14 and began having cluster seizures on New Years Eve. My mother had a very difficult time with the decision. Although Dr. Nelson may not know it, the fact that he did not try to offer any aggressive treatments or alternative solutions, allowed my mother to arrive at the realization that it was time. The veterinary doctor lost his temper with my poor puppy. I will never let him alone with my puppy again. We'll be finding another doctor that is better with animals and has patience. It's not inexpensive and the facility is small and not worth the cost. There are a lot of options and I would recommend avoiding this one.
