I’ve been seeing Eden for 9 months now, and I’m learning so much about myself, just by being open and talking about hard situations, but also in the good times. She is very knowledgeable in her field and recognizes quickly what some of my behaviors are related to. Eden has been seeing my teenage son for almost a decade. She has helped him tremendously through some very trying times. I highly recommend her for children of all ages. She is always professional and communicates regularly regarding my sons progress without violating his trust. I’m so thankful for her and my son is too.
Mrs. Matthews has been my therapist since January 2021. I had an immediate connection when I found her on Google. I cannot say anything negative about my therapist because she taught me self reflection NOT self blame. Eden helped me so much when I was a child! She helped me work through my trauma and triggers and taught me how to cope. This brought so much healing for me, an adult who dreams of starting a family that is healthy and not dysfunctional. I’m super grateful for Eden and the things I learned about myself while being counseled by her.
At best, Eden is an experienced and limited therapist. I found her unable to handle serious issues, and she even started praying. Don’t Easter your time, energy, and money! There are better counselors locally. Ask your primary care provider; I just picked Eden off of Psychology Today, and I wish I hadn’t!
