RecommendedOur appetizer was cold, but they redeemed themselves when our ribeye dinners came. Great cut, hot, and so flavorful. Cooked perfectly.
Disappointing. I ordered my steak medium rare and when it came out it was medium well. I told the server/bartender Cindy who then tried telling me it was probably “just the lighting” making it look more cooked than it was. My intelligence was insulted, I can tell if a steak is cooked properly by taste and not sight. Rough as a piece of leather. Wanted to support a local small business tonight. Called ahead to confirm they were open and hostess informed us they were but closed in 20 minutes. It was 9:20pm - Went to the restaurant and an employee was standing outside and said they closed in 15 minutes... it was 9:35pm - Asked if that meant we shouldn't come in and she said "Well it's your choice. They're gonna rush you..." We regretfully took our business elsewhere.
Our group of friends wanted to go out for steak in Mishawaka, so we headed to Longhorn Steakhouse. The wait was about an hour and they couldn't seat all 7 of us together due to the Covid-19 guidelines. We tried Cheddar's... pretty much the same story. We turned again to YELP and saw The She'd - which we had driven by on our way to Indiana. I dialed up The Shed and they could get all 7 of us in with no wait. We high-tailed it over and got right in. Steak over cooked hard and chewy all waitress could say was sorry you want me to get some sauce to put over it ! Nothing would make that taste any better ! No offing of a new steak or anything! Last time coming here!!!
