Dr. Wortham and his staff have been a breath of fresh air. Unlike so many medical offices these days, where one feels more like a number, my family and I have been treated like real people, not to mention well cared for professionally. Thanks so much!
All I can say is after two surgeries, Dr. Wortham and his staff are among the finest people I've come to know. I am not treated like a patient, i am treated like a human being with emotions, concerns and fears. Dr. Wortham is extremely kind and personable. He treats me with, kindness and genuine concern for my situation. No one will touch my eyes except Dr. Wortham. I love this man and his staff. They are first class, barr none!
My daughter has been a patient since 2009. Dr. Wortham is extremely knowledgeable about strabismus and had more compassion than any other ophthalmologist she had seen (and there were many). He worked with her for these past 8 years, adjusting prescriptions for her glasses, adding prisms and trying every nonsurgical option. Finally, at age 20, she needed surgery and the results have been great. He is an extremely skilled surgeon. His staff is outstanding!
Dr. Wortham is knowledgeable and the office is very organized and professional. I love that it is a small caring practice and doesn't feel like a factory!
