Recently a resident. Dining room is very well done in every way. Very tidy well maintained .99% of staff are excellent. However, the night nurse is truly not suited for a career serving vulnerable adults. Don’t ask for a cigarette after 8 pm as it’s a taboo as the corporation sees it. Poor care, staff shortages, neglectful, do not follow service agreement. Below average food. Medication errors. Lack continuity of care and quality. Never really fix problems which continued over a years time. Some staff are great. They should be running the facility. Leadership never seemed on board and was more concerned about too many emails which they received due to poor care and incompetent staff. Inconsistent, lack quality of care. Staff shortages. Never really fix a problem. Are not personalized, no attention to detail. Several medication mishaps. Leadership needs work. Good care trickles down from the top. Food stinks, bad tasting, unappealing visually. Do not follow service agreement. Seems difficult for them to get all staff on board per contract for resident.
