I feel compelled to write this review for my EcoSmart system which has outlasted 2 used hot tubs. The first one installed easily and worked flawlessly from day one. When that hot tub died, the EcoSmart hibernated for several years in a 5 gallon bucket under our deck. By the time we replaced it, I had entered my 70s. Nothing was easy for me and I wanted to make sure that the EcoSmart was working properly before installing. Ruined my pool and my heaters. Disgusting management who stand by nothing but their egos. Unlicensed in the State of AZ one of their owners came to install our in home and pool gear. Worst most unprofessional install I’ve ever seen. Sloppy at best. They insist on an acidic pool so my copper pipes of my new heaters failed and my beautiful white pool and spa turned blue. I have been a Ecosmarte user since 2003 on my in ground pool and also on my well water and could not be more pleased. I get my pool set up in the spring and it is virtually maintains its self. I use their programable system which as injects CO2 for PH control. I will be closing my pool shortly and have had no algae or cloudiness all season. If I could give this rotten company zero stars I would have. I paid over $5,000 for their system in March of 2017. In about three months my house started smelling like rotten eggs, really badly. I contacted the company and they told me it was not related to their system and that I would have to shock my well with Chlorine to make the smell go away. I called 4 different experts to my home and every single one had the same opinion. Each company tested my water both before and after Ecosmarte's well water system. All four comp... read more
