Recently bought a Vape electronic ignition from Economy Cycle for my 1977 Yamaha RD400. There are other merchants who sell this system, but I know of no other merchant who willingly offers technical support if you need it during your install. I have been buying parts for my RD400 from John at Economy Cycle for years now. Lately, I had an issue with carburetors that my local shop in Florida could not fix it. John at Economy Cycle, went way over his normal diligence, called the guys in FL and over the phone throublesoot & fixed it! That is what I call COSTUMER SERVICE!!! Way to go John! My personal experience with repair services of Economy Cycle leads me to never use John at Economy Cycle for any work in the future. My opinion is based on experiences with a RD400 taken to Economy Cycle in February 2021 which a defined scope of work to be completed. I've purchased a long list of products for my RD350 from Economy with zero issues. John is extremely helpful during and after the point of sale. He makes sure that the correct parts are ordered and is quick to answer installation questions. I've had an excellent customer experience at Economy Cycle!
