Good quick service! Nice upgraded waiting room! – This is a good quick place to get your oil changed; the wife and I use it a lot but have to watch the "upsale techniques". Like a lot of these small shops they are constantly trying to add-on an engine flush or some other extra service. It would be nice if they'd just recommend what you need and their price; then if they can work with you on the price, that would be more appreciated. Best Car Repair and Oil Change in Charlotte! – When we moved here to pineville in November 2009, we had to get oil changes and repairs in each of our vehicles. We took both our cars to econo lube and was blown away with their kindness and proficiency. Everyone at Econo Lube was very nice and told us what was needed for our two cars. Biggest Rip Off EVER!!!! – Let me start by saying that i only gave one star because it is a requirment to put a review.......I took my car to econo lube n' tune on mockingbird ln. and they completely ripped me off. i came in with my car over heating and told them exactly what the problems where that i was having. I paid $600 for what ever it is they fixed and my car is still over heating!! VERY DISHONEST – July 26, 2011 I recently bought a used car with high miles and went in with a coupon to have the following done: radiator flushed, brake fluid flushed, oil changed, new air filter,transmission fluid changed, power steering fluid flush, fuel injectors cleaned, new fuel filter installed. The best auto repair shop!!! – I went in for a state inspection and left with a new repair shop! The manager is honest, friendly and so helpful. They do great work at reasonable prices, and are very customer service oriented. I would highly recommend this location to anyone!!!

Don't Get Suckered! – I received a Valu-Pack coupon from this vendor offering a $20.00 oil change. The coupon stated the facility was across from Mervyns which I didn't believe existed anymore. After driving around for 15 minutes I discovered that the facility was next to Sav-Mart across from Ross and used to be acrossed from a Mervyns. Upon entry I was greeted almost immediately. OK if you have all day – Couldn't believe how long they took to change the oil in my car. Lots of guys standing around while my car sat waiting for someone to finish it up. I was there over an hour eventhough they took my car right away. I won't go back!

Poor knowledge of Honda's They refused to read the timing of my car as per Honda's explicit directions, thus failing my car's smog test; twice. Honda specifically states that you MUST short a specific jumper in my car in order to receive a correct distributor timing reading. The tech admitted that he did not and "that it doesn't really matter"; but failed me for the timing being off. I had the timing checked by another mechanic (after failing the first test) & it was correct. They charged me anyway. I've smog-ed my cars ther... read more
