unfortunately do not waste your time here if you want a balayage. I asked for a honey brown balayage on my virgin black hair. we agreed to go more ashy/neutral than warm toned. after the 4 hr session I came out and my hair was grey… and the balayage toning was super patchy (there were parts that were orange still). I’ve been searching for someone who truly knows how to work with thick, curly hair, and I’m so glad I found Gary! Went in for the 2nd time visit and this time to get a keratin treatment. My hair was outgrowing from a previous keratin treatment and was very uneven. Gary mentioned he can do the treatment but it did not work out well at all. My hair is frizzy but not very thick so if a professional knew what they were doing, it should have worked on my hair, instead it left my hair damaged.
