Absolutely the best!....never disappointed by anything here. Definitely worth the drive. Very friendly and gracious owner.
Went for our anniversary dinner and as always it was well worth the drive from Hampton. Love the atmosphere and Robi is always so friendly. Missy and Dennis are the best and have been there forever. Only downfall was I got the remainder of my French Pepper Steak in a leftover box and when I got home I saw Dennis didn’t put in the sauce, just the steak. 😢.
My husband and I enjoyed our meal so much Dennis was our waiter and he such a joy. He does such a great job. We enjoyed Santana and Missy also. Table 21 had a wonderful evening. Thanks to all of you.
Food and service was excellent. Had Mia Mia over noddles with black olives and feta cheese. Yum! No doggy bag here.

Ordered the 22 ounce prime rib. It was tough as leather -way over cooked. Zero seasoning. When I called about it they were sooo rude, no apology. Took it back and got a filet. It was tender and not over cooked but still no seasoning. Will never go back and recommend you don’t either. For the price it should have been really good.
Ambience/decor is a bit old fashioned, not trendy at all, but with all the good parts about that - you feel at home and cozy and comfortable, can talk to your companions, relax, and just enjoy being there. Eclectic menu with home style German and Italian favorites of old, and good seafood and prime rib, mean you can treat as a $$ local night out or go for $$$ special occasions. (And when you redecorate one day...I would opt for a new striped green wallpaper - it's now a signature item!)
My husband and I love this restaurant. From the warm greeting at the door, to the quiet ambiance, and impeccable service, this is truly a gem! The food is always fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. What a blessing it is to have Eckhard's close by! Truly a classy and timeless place!
