RecommendedExcellent food and service, German cuisine done right!
Celebrating my brother in law’s birthday at Eckhard’s this evening. The food and service were both phenomenal and the desserts were to die for. Definitely worth the drive to Topping, Virginia to experience this great place. Can’t wait to go back!!!
In the top 5 best meals in my life. Fried green tomatoes and soft shell crab. Both cooked to perfection, served hot and fresh. Service was well above and beyond. One dines at Eckhard's, relaxes and savors a meal.
the food was awesome as was the service it is right by a small engine air strip which we loved see the planes come and go. one stopped parked near the road came over had dinner then left

Everything is delicious; my favorite is salmon. Really love the prime rib but it is just too big a piece and not good warmed up. Our favorite place!!!
