Extremely Disappointing Experience at Cortland Peachtree Corners This is by far the worst apartment experience I have ever had. I constantly felt racially profiled due to the lack of diversity in the leasing office. One of the leasing office employees, named Sandra, was rude when first showing me the complex and remained rude throughout my entire stay. Beautiful community & the staff is very friendly, transparent, and accommodating. They also have events monthly and cater to the residents here. Come check it out. Only cons are that the Alarms go off from time to time which can be quite challenging when working from home. Other than that, it’s pretty quiet and clean and no complaints. Pros: - Professional, responsive, nice office staff - Super fast and friendly maintenance team - Property upkeep - Occasional community events - Residents don’t steal packages - Walking trail around and in back of property - Green space for dogs - Location - Safety - Newer units - Free vacuum, air, and water on property - Maintenance team always on property whether working or just doing upkeep - Price is good for value Cons: - Alarm goes off maybe twice a year. The fire alarms have been an issue at this complex for years. Regardless of what they say in responses to reviews, it is clear they don’t have a permanent fix. They go off multiple times a day at random times and the fire department just ignores the alarms because maintenance shuts the alarms off most times they go off. I would give this place 0 stars if I can. For the first 4 months the pipes in the ceiling would bang against each other whenever the upstairs neighbor showered. I told them for months to fix it and they would push it off saying that it’s “apartment living. ” Eventually they cut open a hole to fix it after months of complaining. Not only that, random fire alarms at 5 am that last 20 minutes and happen constantly. The walls are paper thin so you can everything going on with your neighbors.
