As a Black woman, I was hopeful to be treated by a Black doctor who specialized in my specific area of care. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing and, at times, traumatic. Every person with whom I interacted was helpful, kind, and competent. My visit with Dr. Hoskins et al confirmed that I am in such great hands for my upcoming care. Update: Dr Hoskins has been my doctor for over a year now, and I could not be more grateful for her and for my treatment. She is everything you hope to have in a doctor. Highly recommend.
