Decent apartments in San Rafael I recently moved into eaves San Rafael. I was first drawn to check out the apartments from the pictures on the website. Upon visiting the complex in person, I was pleased to know the inside looked just like pictures. The cabinets are all in good shape and beautiful. The appliances are in great shape as well, although I know the dishwasher is at least 10 years old. Washer and dryer in the unit is also a plus. Great place to live! Location location location!! This complex is two minutes away from Safeway, northgate mall numerous gas stations, while still being in a beautiful hilltop with ocean views. The highway entrance either north or south are just down the road so it's really convenient to go anywhere. The larkspur ferry terminal is ten minutes away so the commute is easy if you have to do it. Downtown is five mins away. Napa is about an hour and half away, so weekend options are endless. Gorgeous view I love my apt. I love the view of the mountains and nature. The office personnel and maintenance crew are very nice. I hardly hear my neighbors and I feel safe. I downsized from a 4 bd room and got rid of a lot of stuff but still needed storage so this place was the best place for me. Only a few negative things. It's very expensive for a 1 bed room but it is in Marin County and it comes with a W/D that most places do not have. Also, as there's no AC, I had to buy a portable AC to survive the summer.
