RecommendedI give Dr. Bret Kean, MD and Heather Beissinger, PA-C a huge 2 thumbs up. I had a very large shoulder cuff injury and sought a second opinion with EOS. Dr. Kean expertly put my shoulder back together. Follow up and pain management was on par and professional. Both Dr. Kean and Heather are understanding and knowledgeable. I recommend this team highly and will seek their care again for future ortho needs.
Working with Eastside Orthopedics and Sports Medicine has been a great experience. Starting with Heather in reception being very friendly and very helpful to working with Heather Beissinger and Bret Kean. I felt like I was treated with respect and was also being heard. Bret and Heather were both very informative and explained everything very thoroughly. They always asked if I had questions or concerns and always addressed them. I have only lived in Portland area for three years and have managed to need two surgeries in that short time. Dr. Gupta accomplished a repair on my left foot (toe) that had not responded to any previous coaxing or treatment. This last June Dr. Kean did a total shoulder replacement on my left side. Both of these doctors are highly professional, exceedingly knowledgeable and personable at the same time. Dr. Kean did an outstanding job repairing my rotator cuff. I give him the highest marks for his work. Physician's Assistant, Heather Biessinger, was exceptional helpful as well. She addressed my concerns and provided excellent direction during my recovery.
Bret Kean MD is amazing! He has the best bedside manner than any other doctor I have ever epncountered. Extremely kind and always makes sure that I fully understand what is going on. He put a plate in to help heal my broken wrist. He also handles Workers Comp claims which was necessary with my case. ☆☆☆☆☆ I highly recommend him and his staff, and am very pleased that they now have extended hours at their new Gresham location.
The dr we saw Dr. Gupta was wonderful and polite, the rest of the staff we encountered (two staff at check in window and some sort of assistant) were INCREDIBLY rude to multiple people I saw check in. They ran an hour behind our appointment time and had NO idea how to process OHP open card, so I had to call ohp myself for advocacy and LUCKILY got in touch with a person quickly who spoke with them and told them what to do. .....they still insisted they were in the right and it was magically different on their end somehow and ... read more
