Cozy and comfortable. Near some good restaurants. The room is big. If could pay attention to some detail cleaning on bathroom's switch, could be better.
It’s decent enough for a budget motel in a good location, but people are really getting carried away with 4- and 5-star reviews. - The room was dark with two broken light fixtures. - There were multiple smears on the wall (Paint? Mud? Something else?) - The closet door had no handle; just a hole where the handle should go. - There was dirt built up in corners of the walls. - The bed felt like it was missing some springs or cushioning. - A lot of fabric on the desk chair has come off. An aging facility found across the river from downtown Portland. I booked the stay for three friends from out of town, and on entering the room we immediately noticed adult-sized handprints on the headboard of one of the beds in a, suggestive arrangement. The headboard was mildly dusty and the prints were due to human oil/sweat. We all know what happens in hotel rooms but the visual reminder was not ideal.
