Gave us a room with no A/C, then refused to provide a refund after they told us they had no other rooms available. We had to beg him to call his manager for assistance, and when he finally did, the manager told him to turn us away and have us call someone completely different 2 days from now. Luckily, my wife speaks Spanish (which they did not expect) and was able to catch them trying to scam us. The front desk guy said he can cancel it right now and the manager said no. Nice budget motel on Burnside.
The motel is definitely dated but the location was excellent for everywhere we wanted to go. Parking is free but there aren't enough stalls for every room. Weekends got busy. The first room we had was absolutely gross and looked unclean. Our key card only worked sporadically. I talked to the front desk to get the room cleaned and they changed rooms for us without question which was very kind of them.
