Over cooked and over seasoned but worst of all the pieces of fish were terrible tasting, thin cut pieces of fish
I honestly cannot think of another time when I have been so disappointed in a meal that I bought. Went to buy dinner for my daughter's birthday dinner and she wanted fried fish. Well...figured this place had been touted on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives so why not! Well...here is why not. It was a busy Sunday and I called in my order knowing it would take time. the food was horrible. my fish was coated with flour that was uncooked. the phone service is extremely rude, and they will tell you half hour to pick up your order, in actuality, it's always 1 hour and 45 minutes. not to mention, I was charged $57 for a 2pice fish dinner and a 3 piece fish dinner.
Your food would be perfect if you weren't quite so heavy handed with the salt. I've ordered twice now and both times, especially the hush puppies, WAY too much salt. Your food has a good flavor, don't cover it up.
Tonight was my first time ordering. I wish I could tell you how the food was. I pulled in the parking lot right as I got a text my food was ready. After waiting in the car for 30 min, calling and asking if I needed to come in (no, we will bring it out) getting hung up in 3 times when I finally got through again I just told them to keep the order. I know things are crazy right now but waiting 30 min in the parking lot after I got a text saying my food was done is ridiculous. I won't be back.
