I received services here. My specimen was taken and forwarded to contracted Laboratory. My insurance is stellar with a very minimal out of pocket. Imagine my surprise, over a year later, when I received a summons stating that I owe over $4000 to the contracted lab. I have 20 days to respond and the claim is over a year old. My insurance will not pay it. I contacted the lab, who stated that the requisition received with my specimen listed me as a Self-Pay (uninsured Patient).
