Dr Roi should be fired. NOT because of her religious beliefs, but because her "free will" decision to not treat a child. I believe she took an oath??? That bigoted decision is so unethical, I couldn't imagine a medical group that would allow her to keep her job. Unless you're all assholes...
Dr. Roi needs to go...w/e happened to "first do no harm"? Funny how she refuses to treat the newborn child of a same-sex couple (and doesn't even have the guts to tell them so in person) b/c of her religious beliefs, yet I'm sure she'd have no problem treating illegitimate children, blind or nearsighted children, children of divorced parents, children of a local Red Lobster manager, etc, despite the Bible speaking out against all of these things...the hypocrisy is in full force here, and you should be ashamed.
Dr Roi needs to lose her license to practice. Horrible bigoted bitch.
Maybe the good doctor should take up faith healing instead.

Despite the situation at hand this office has provided excellent care the hundreds/thousands of children for many many years. Whether or not the actions of one individual were right or wrong (and I'm not saying it was right) and although I feel it is good to raise awareness for many different things, there are innocent people who did not choose to refuse treatment to this family/child that are being hurt by this situation. Wow! What an absolute despicable human being/doctor is your Dr. Vey. I use both those terms loosely. I hope you lose most of your patients because of her. I would never go to or allow any of my family to see such a hateful person. I hope there's a way for her to lose her license.
