I’m very disappointed with the lack of transparency during my visit. I went in for a dental consultation, which included a bitewing x-ray and a root x-ray — both necessary and explained by the dentist. After the consultation, without prior notice or explanation, the assistant added a panoramic x-ray just before I left. I later found out through my insurance that this x-ray wasn’t covered and resulted in more than $90 out-of-pocket charge.
