Not very helpful. Access Alaska was willing to help me get a waiver needed and start the process for my mother. This is all new to me and something I am not familiar with at all. Tisha with Easter seals said they do not help with any of that and my mother would need to pay 37.00 an hour for their services.

Am a resident in Anchorage . 2 weeks ago, had to go to the emergency ward , was diagnosed with Bladder stones. With everything that this Pandemic has thrown at me , this was yet more grief. To add yet more, the department that has to do the procedure is booked solid for at least a couple of weeks, and when the procedure finally takes place, will have to stay in the hospital overnight . The only solution is a medically assisted ride home . At my pay scale , is beyond my means . I was completely at a loss , without answers .I ... read more
