It’s unfortunate that this is the only option for MFM in this area. I am being followed for GDM and it took weeks to get an appt (even telehealth). After every appt I’ve had I’ve been told someone will call you to set up another appt. Days go by with no call and I have to reach out to schedule. Then the appts are pushed off farther than the recommended time frame.
Dr Jerri A. Waller left us out to dry after my wife had a miscarriage. Did a 45 second consult and said "we dont have time for you" No exam, no options just "sorry, not sorry" Everyone we spoke to on the phone was rude, and short. Wife was forced to deliver our passed son in the emergency room the next day. EVMS is a joke. Your better off at a veteranary clinic.
The fact that this is the only MFM option in all of Hampton Roads is horrendous. Providers don’t look at your charts before they meet with you, have no idea why they are meeting with you, and leave you in the waiting room for 45+ minutes because they forgot about you. Terribly unprofessional, not helpful at all or empathetic with high-risks pregnancies, and no desire to truly help or figure out issues going on within pregnancies. The desk staff at the Norfolk office are not the best. I have scheduled appointments, just for them to be rescheduled and pushed back to a further date despite being high risk and having to be seen at least every 2 weeks. A lot of times they are done last minute, and I have had instances where they’ve been canceled and rescheduled without my knowledge or consent.
