New patient visit for second opinion on medications during pregnancy - I was referred by my psychiatrist of 4-5 years. Dr. Deutsch was great. He asked many questions which I was prepared for as I know how initial appointments go, paid attention and wrote everything down, gave insight on medications, and overall, was just very caring. He spent a good amount of time with me, at least an hour. He explained things very clearly although I have heard it all before. He seems like a very knowledgeable doctor. Dr Deutsche removed an extensive amount of polyps from both my nasal passages and sinuses in an estimated 5 hour surgery under anesthesia. This surgery improved my breathing extensively and allowed the full use of my nose for the first time in years. The post-op is going to require allergy shots as I clearly have some immuno issues to contend with but, overall I am pleased with his work.
