When I purchased my home last year, I was looking for a Title Company bc the Title company that my mortgage lender was referring had horrible reviews. I did a little research of my own and found Eastern Title. I'm so glad I chose them bc they have been nothing but short of AMAZING! They are super responsive and seem to care about their clients needs. They are also very organized, professional and know what they're doing. I will def use Eastern in the future ... they are in my phone on speed dial.
Absolutely the worst real estate closing experience of my life. I am in the real estate closing settlement business myself, so have the basis to make such an evaluation. My initial emails went unanswered, even after I had made my initial contract deposit, for which I never received acknowledgment. This company botched our entire real estate transaction. They mis-figured our property taxes and had us fill out paperwork AGAIN after our settlement. They held our money and didn't pay our homeowners insurance premium until we got a notice from our insurance company that our account was past due. They botched the transfer of information to our HOA company. But they had no issues taking our more than $1,100 in fees and charges.
I recently worked with Heather and her team and I found them to be super organized, fantastic to deal with and they completed every step of the settlement process ahead of my expectation. When it looked as if my mortgage company was going to miss our settlement date, Heather actually reached out to the mortgage processor and somehow got them meet our deadline. Heather really knows the business inside and out. Simply put, Eastern Title and Settlement is the very best in the area.
