I enjoy going here several times a year. However, the Book Fest is not on my list for next year. It was not anything I expected it to be. My purchases for the day were blueberries and sweet potatoes from the wonderful Sunday Market.
It's my Saturday delight since my childhood.I love my Saturday afternoon shopping excursions even though I always see something extra to buy I don't mind because it's fresh and a better price than my local grocer. Let's not forget the people are always amazing you know never know who you will see at the Eastern Mkt.
Had a wonderful time enjoying fruits, meats, flowers and entertainment in the city! It's a must do! We walked one the highway and went to the meat market... wonderful!!!
Love the fact that there is now Eastern market Sundays, I work every Saturday so I was feeling a little deprived.
It was great going with my son who wanted to shop at the new resale stores. I enjoyed walking around and checking everything out. I can't wait to go again and eat next time.
I'm from Alabama but every time I come to visit my Detroit Family I always make sure I'm coming to the Eastern Market. I love the atmosphere and they make sure they take care of all your needs. Keep up the great work
