Ive been enjoying Eastern Market since I was a child, with my parents and brother. It was fun and very busy. Back in the day, there were only vegetable and fruit vendors, and maybe flowers, but now...it has flourished to a fabulous Mecca of so many items, including baked good, oils, cheeses, non edibles, etc. I took my children there as they grew up, and yesterday, I took my youngest daughter (40) to enjoy the newness with many vendors and food trucks, shops, flea markets, eateries and all. Chef Egan is informative and fun. His cooking is and techniques are awesome!
Had a great time, the vibe was great. Only thing that I didn't like was the holding of spots when it said 1st come 1st serve. But other then that it was awesome
It was "The Ultimate Tailgating Experience... Shed#4...Will be back same time same shed on 24th..." You best believe it!!!!
The eastern market is a place for events, parties like our L4L Tailgate party every year during the Lions game! Also! It good for vendors selling food out of there gardens, and to come down and get fresh meat cut the way you like! Love it!
