I checked the web site to see if Eastern Market would be booming Sunday for Labor Day and the web site led me to believe vendors, musicians and all the like would be all out and about. Just about every store was closed and sheds and streets empty. HUGE disappointment !!!
I took a friend there and to my surprise, Wigley Corned Beef had rib tips for 99 cents a pound, I was in my Glory!
I love it here we moved to MI a few years ago and this is one of my favorite spots here love it so fun and great prices!!!
I started going to Eastern Market with my grandmother as a child and now continue the tradition with my own daughter. I love this place; good people, good products, and lot of fun!

I started at shed5 ended up at shed 3 I think...I bought baked goods and t shirts and incense that smell so good. I bought books and earrings , lemonade and all sorts of unique one of a kind items! I loved the spur of the moment outing that turned out to be a treasured experience!
Loved the Shed 5 flea market and local artists. Very good! Will be back for sure
It's always nice to visit Eastern Market. We originally came down for the flea market, but found it more "crafty" than expected so we only made a couple of purchases. We did find some great looking peaches which were canned by the end of the evening 😊
