Ron and Don Easterby are products of the Lowcountry. Born and raised in Charleston, they have been in the restaurant business for over thirty years. Growing up in the West Ashley area of Charleston, they spent their youth playing sports at St. Andrews Playground. Just had an awesome lunch. It's probably been about 3 years since I ate here last. Simply goes to show you that you can't form an opinion from someone else's thoughts. The food was great and so was the service(Kelly). Mr. Easterby(blonde) even came to my table to see how I was doing. I won't wait so long to visit again.
Wow, horrible service tonight! Actually got up and left without ever getting our food. The waitress said they were busy and not able to serve hush puppies and also out of lettuce. After watching 2 tables that were seated after us get hush puppies and salads, we finally asked for our order to be cancelled. 45 minutes after placing our order we had not even gotten our appetizers yet. Sad to see this type of service.. very disappointing!
Love the food as usual always good and always a great value. But need to get a handle on employees. Didn't enjoy the atmosphere this time. Employee came out the kitchen talking about, they better do something about another employee because he not working with Her. Then they started talking loud back and forth , in and out the kitchen. My sister wanted to leave, because she remembers the news reports of what happened at that restaurant downtown, named Virginia.
It’s absolutely appalling I never in a million dreams thought I would have to write this as I’ve grown up in this restaurant but after my incident tonight we will never step foot back in that place!
Great price, service and the food was excellent as well!
We ate lunch there the other day. The food was not what it used to be or the cook was having a bad day. The seafood was lukewarm and the macaroni and cheese was soggy. And to top it off the young waitress there wearing the shorty shorts kept calling my husband "Sweetheart" and trying to make eyes with him. Very unprofessional! Probably won't go back.
