My wife and I recently built a home with Eastbrook homes. We are totally pleased with how it all worked out. I first met with the sales person , Maureen, who was a pleasure to work with. She was extremely knowledgeable of the home Building process and every detail that we had to look forward to in the upcoming month. I would never recommend this builder to anyone. First, we purchased one of their "model" homes, so you'd expect exceptional quality and that was not the case. Thankfully, prior to purchasing, we had a home inspection and found that they had failed to insulate above the primary bedroom, bathroom, and closet. Then, when we moved in, our clothes dryer, on the second floor, would not get warm enough to dry clothes. Love my home but the quality of the build is very poor. Bought new in 2004. Had to replace the master bathroom floor due to an improperly fitted toilet that leaked for years back in 2015. Basement gets water when it rains from a certain direction.Now I have dry rot in the outside wood due to improper installation of flashing. Eastbrook makes beautiful homes quickly and is willing to cut out quality for speed. It’s not until further down the line that these problems surface.
