i was prevailed upon to ditch the $14 barbershop haircut (which i had been getting since time immemorial, and with which i was pretty content) and at least try a more sophisticated experience/haircut. In that regard, Eastbank was recommended. Once there i was put in the very capable hands of Karen. I entered a skeptic. I left there a convert. The vibe was great. After having part of my head shaved because of a surgery, I needed to do something with the rest of my hair, which had been long at the time. Karen, at Eastbank Hair came highly recommended. I had never been, but thought I'd give it a shot. I'm so glad I did!! First, I loved the charming atmosphere of the shop. And secondly, Karen was absolutely lovely. She listened to what I wanted, looked at the picture ideas I had brought along, did a fantastic job, and was so very friendly. I highly recommend Karen and Eastbank Hair!
I do not have a reputation of being loyal to hairdressers. I just never really found one that I loved. That is, until yesterday. I always look forward to my experiences at East Bank. I love the Aveda products and it very relaxing. On my last visit talked with Karen about my hair color and cut and it was just perfect: a vibrant red shade with my dark color, which was still fun, yet professional. The cut was also amazing! She showed me how to easily style it at home and make it look great, even on the go!
Best cut in years! – Finally, I have been looking for a salon that is laid back and welcoming! I made an appointment with Sam, who made me feel comfortable to ask questions and really talked me through what we were going to do with my hair. Great experience – My experience at East Bank ON 8/24/11 was wonderful. There is a fresh smell about the place. Love the product that they use on the hair "Aveda". The warmth that you receive is incredible. Karen takes her time to hear your hair problems and offers great suggestions. EastBank Hair - Karen – Karen has been cutting my for over 20 years. She is always accomadating, lovely and helpful. She has excellant skills and has changed my color and cut many times over the years. The salon is small, personalized and all the staff is helpful. They use only Aveeda products. This is an excellantsalon in every way with no drawbacks and you would be lucky to have Karen cut your hair.
