RecommendedI used to bring my dog to the "other" vet in Springfield and my dog Isaac hated it there. Had to literally drag him in the door and he would stress drool the entire time. He walks right in to E Spfld Vet Hospital and let's them handle him with a lot less struggle. (It used to take two or three people to hold him sometimes at the other vet). I'd recommend them to everyone.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
We have a very anxiety ridden dog, and when anxious, he bites. The staff at ESVH are exceptional at handling him with respect and kindness. He’s now on Prozac and doing much better. I would highly recommend them.
They get to know animals and their owners, and though they (obviously) provide care for hundreds of animals, they genuinely care about each one. Take time to explain things and answer questions.

I wish they had a ❤️ button instead of just a like. We brought our great little rescue Jack to ESVH on a referral from our mobile vet. He has had a pretty tough life and came to us with a lot of trust and anxiety issues. The staff are fabulous. They walked us through preparing for his first visit and he got through it with flying colors. He was a brave and perfect gentleman! We are so proud of how far he has come and want to extend our warm thanks to all the staff for helping to make his visit anxiety free.
Friendly vets and vet techs. My pets love their visits there. My cats tolerate visits but my Tony loves them.
The entire staff! Veterinarians, Technicians, Receptionists, and other support staff are all outstanding.
