I'm seeing people leave nasty reviews of this place during COVID, and it makes me so sad. They are working double time to make sure our fur babies have the best care, which means they may not being available to us all the time. I'd rather their focus go to my cat than to me. They have been nothing short of phenomenal since I adopted my orange tabby. They have been patient yet honest, accomodating yet firm; I have nothing but respect for everyone who works here.

It is with a very heavy heart that I write this review. I am shocked to be quite honest. I have left a 5 star review in the past and that sickens me. I have worked in vet clinics for 12 years and initally I thought East Padden was fantastic and chose them to care for my high needs dog. My dog has severe anxiety so when we make appointments with them, they know he needs to be sedated. I made an appt 1 week prior to today after talking to the receptionist who confirmed with the doctor he would be seeing that he is NOT to be a ... read more

We had to rush our puppy there this evening due to a sudden onset of symptoms. They took him in right away and took such great care of him! We would definitely recommend them!

Just spent 6 hours at this vet, paid $1000, only to be told that they don’t know what is wrong with my sick dog. Had to wait in the car, due to COVID, and the staff refused to answer the phone, so I literally had to flag down the staff in the parking lot, just to find out the status of my dog. Vet said my dog could have cancer, or it could just be an infection, so I spent all day on pins and needles, not knowing if my dog was going to live or die. And after all of that, the staff was extremely rude and unapologetic when they... read more

Before the Coronavirus, I changed vets because I felt like I was dealing with a factory only interested in money. My new vet is more about caring about my pets than how much they can squeeze out of me

Our old dog took a turn for the worst yesterday. We knew it was time to say goodbye. Our regular vet couldn’t work us in so we called them. We had to be worked into the schedule and they explained it could be a long wait. They were so kind and compassionate to me and our dog. Dr. Livingston was amazing! They got us right in and worked quickly so we didn’t have wait to long to be seen. He went very peacefully. Thank you so much for your kindness and compassion! We will be back. ❤️

The care of my dogs is usually of high quality here at East Padden and I am not discounting the pet health care services in any way. Please be aware that if you accept a two hour window “work in” appointment, in reality, you should expect 4-6 hours before you get your pet back. I was told it would take about 2 hours for a work in - so I waited in the parking lot. What that really means is about 3 hours wait before a vet will actually see your pet and another 2-3 hours for them to perform the services you had already requeste... read more
