We love east moon!! We will continue to go back! Best sushi by far!
It used to be our favorite place for sushi, but that quickly changed. The shrimp (ebi) was dried out along the edges and the food just didn't taste fresh, at all. The quality diminished over time and we have decided to stop eating there. ...too bad :/
We have been here several times and love the atmosphere, decor and the great variety of Asian food. We have always had pleasant experiences and friendly, hospitable staff wait on us...but yesterday was an exception. Our waitress was either tired and ready for her shift to end, angry or unfocused on giving the great customer service we expect @ any nice upscale restaurant. BEWARE if GF. Their lunch menu claims to have gluten-free items, however, every dish is served with a wheat egg roll. I told them that I was medically gluten-free but they claim that it is OK because it is off to the side, even though it is on the same plate. Their lunch menu items are NOT GLUTEN free.
I love this place. Food is always amazing, the service is great and the atmosphere is fun and busy. They don't make you feel rushed either!
Three of us ordered the exact same thing, supposedly a Vietnamese style noodle bowl. Should have been chicken & pork. Some reason, mine was beef, rather than the pork. Small, scrawny scraps. Looked nothing like the meat in the other 2 bowls. And chewy, like jerky. Not going back for sure!!
Ladies night out...sushi was great and so was the service. Loved our waitress. I can't wait to go back and try other dishes.
